She walked. She walked because it was all she could do, all she knew. Nothing registered. Physically-she felt nothing. Emotionally she was vacant and her mind was a pool of emptiness. Everything, everything was her putting one foot in front of the other, mothing the ground beneath her as she flowed.
A single tear dropped onto the dusty ground, immediatly becoming one with the dry soil. Absorbing it. Becoming it. Her body shook with fatigue, her bones felt distant in her body, yet her feet moved onwards. Over hills, through vallies, she moved on.
After hours of meaningless search, it stopped. Everything stopped. Because that’s what things do. Everything you know, everything you care about, will die. All the endless, mindless searching you do, hours, years, lives spent searching for something, anything, worth searching for, will come to an end. Ultimatelyyour searching, your walking, is for nothing.
But what else can you do?
Don’t go searching. Live your life as if there’s nothing more to search for, because it’s already all around you. The human race, as twisted and fucked as it is, is what you have to live for. Stop faith, fuck faith, because everything stops, ends and dies. You do too. Don’t let this scare you though, rever in it. Rever in love, and make more. Look at the world. See the parts filled with hate? Replace that hate with love. Not because a god tells you to, because you are a human being, you love. As soon as we forget all these extra components, things that compromise, compromise our humanity, as soon as we lose these variables that cloud our judgement, we can love eachother. Maybe even live in complete peace.
Just imagine all the people.
